A paper was recently published in BMJ Gut about blue poo and the impact of gut transit time on the gut microbiome.
In the paper the Zoe team, in collaboration with leading scientists, gave blue muffins (they're more like cupcakes!) to thousands of people and they discovered that gut transit time - the time it takes for food to travel through your GI tract - can say a lot about a person's gut microbiome.
